Privacy Policy

Browsing the explorer does not require an account. You can view the map, open a location, read a scorecard, and run the energy calculator without signing in and without giving us your name, address, duty station, or move plans.

• Account information. If you sign in to the administrative workspace, we store the email address and identity details supplied by the sign-in provider you chose, along with the role assigned to your account.
• Administrative activity. Actions taken inside the workspace (data imports, refreshes, source edits) are recorded with the acting account so changes to published data can be traced and rolled back.
• Technical request data. Our hosting and backend providers process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps to serve pages, prevent abuse, and keep the service available.
• Inputs you type into tools. Values you enter into the energy calculator and the locations you add to the comparison tray are used to render your results. They are not tied to an identity and are not sold.

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not route your activity to real estate agents, lenders, or any other professional. Nothing on this site creates a lead.
• We do not ask for military status, orders, PCS dates, financial accounts, or family details.
• We do not run advertising networks or third-party ad tracking on this site.

We use cookies and browser storage that are needed to make the site work: keeping an administrator signed in, remembering whether the sidebar is open, and holding your comparison selections while you browse. If we later add analytics, this policy will be updated before it is turned on.

We rely on third parties to host the application, store data, and authenticate administrators. They process information on our instructions and only to provide those services. Public cost data shown on the site comes from federal and state publishers; requesting that data does not send your information to them.

Administrative accounts and their activity records are kept while the account is active and for as long as we need them to explain how published figures were produced. Technical request logs are kept for a short operational period. Calculator inputs are not stored on our servers.

You may ask us what account information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete an administrative account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. We will not deny you service for exercising them.

This site is built for adults planning household costs. It is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
